Joe Manchin Says ‘Lot of Changes’ Needed for Build Back Better To Get Through

This Build Back Better (BBB) plan has been circling over American heads for months now, but with how much Biden drones on about how good it is, it really feels like decades. As Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) keep their heels firmly dug in, the BBB stands little to no chance of being able to pass. Given the latest wave of the continuous ‘party before people’ mindset, their choice to oppose Biden and his plan are monumental.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has aspirations of passing the $1.7 trillion Build Back Better Act before the break for Christmas, but to be realistic it doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of happening the way things are written right now. Given the rate of inflation and Biden’s plans to control inflation with this bill, Manchin doesn’t see it going through.

I’m not skeptical. I’m just basically a realist. There’s an awful lot there, and a lot of changes to be done, and you’re throwing it at a time when it’s very vulnerable in our economy…I haven’t seen that. I’ve heard that. I don’t, I don’t know how you control inflation when there’s the first year of spending is going to be quite large.” How right is this man? The Biden plan gives everyone a great big slice of debt and a small side of benefits; if they fit in with the specially designed programs.

The one thing Senators like Manchin and Sinema see is just how horrible the BBB is for the average American. It’s almost like the mafia wrote this idea up when you look at it. It has a ‘big’ face on it making the public believe in it, and that it was some great and clean plan to fix our problems. In all actuality, it does nothing more than spend money to generate nothing for the average person, but it sure does create hidden jobs for people who need do-nothing jobs; you know people like a congressman’s cousins.

How this is beyond the comprehension of the rest of the Democratic senators is beyond explanation. These people are supposed to be some of the brightest and best of what each state has to offer. Yet with each passing moment, they prove just how ignorant each and every one of them truly is. As they continue to press for the BBB to pass, the American people continue to suffer at their foolishness.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is a nonpartisan organization and they have been investigating BBB extensively. They and other organizations have discovered Biden’s insane BBB plan would add up to trillions of dollars in spending. A cost that is especially heavy over the first several years of its lifecycle. The CBO also claims the bill would take $750 billion from taxpayers over five years. The BBB is contingent largely on arbitrary policy sunsets. These sunsets give the appearance that this is less expensive than the official price tag of $1.7 trillion. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget found that the legislation would cost $4.91 trillion if (read when) many of the policies and programs are allowed to bypass the sunset dates.

Every sign indicates the BBB would be a horrible decision for 99.8675309% of American’s. This idea would leave American’s to suffer for very few benefits, and what benefits do exist in this bill just make Americans more dependent on the Government. Not something we need now.
